Bio
Welcome to Koser Psychological Services. My mission is to help you find answers to questions about your child's learning and development or help you understand your own stressors and how to cope with them in a way that works for you.
Through customized and targeted testing I work to provide answers about possible learning disabilities and differences, autism, and ways to work with the challenges of ADHD. I strive to provide a setting where people from all backgrounds and identities feel comfortable, listened-to, and respected for the full person they are. My office and work style are optimized to be safe and supportive for young children who may have difficulty with transitions or feel uncertain about visiting "the doctor." My therapy approaches and techniques are based on research-based interventions targeted to each person's diagnosis and the treatment goals you have decided you want to address.
I earned my Master's and Doctoral Degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University. I tailored my training at Widener to focus on working with children and families of all sorts. After graduating from Widener, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Special People in the Northeast (SPIN), an agency specializing in serving children and teens with autism as well as their families. I am trained and experienced in autism diagnostic testing as well as testing to identify learning disabilities and differences in children and adults. Most recently, I completed the certificate program in Affirmative Therapy for Transgender Communities from the Human Sexuality Program at Widener University.
