Dr. Kurzyna is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in integrative health and is Cofounder and Executive Director of Moorestown Integrative Wellness. She has a passion for implementing mind-body approaches to health and healing. Her personal vision is to help create a culture of wellness.

Dr. Kurzyna works with people who have health concerns and with people who experience stress which affects their health and well-being. She also works with healthcare workers and other professionals who are experiencing burnout. Her compassion, curiosity and sincere interest in understanding her clients’ unique experience sets her apart. She uses interventions best suited to meet each client’s specific personal growth and wellness needs, while maintaining the use of evidence-based mind-body treatments.

Dr. Kurzyna has worked for the past decade in hospitals treating the psychological needs of medical patients. She initiated, organized and executed the first inpatient, integrative psychology consults in the Hackensack Meridian Health Care System and developed and implemented an evidence-based nursing and resident wellness and resilience program to reduce burnout. She is board certified in biofeedback, a means of self-regulation helpful in managing stress, anxiety, and certain forms of chronic pain. She is certified in clinical hypnosis through the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and she has completed formal practicum training in mindfulness-based stress reduction.

Dr. Kurzyna earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Services from Rider University and completed her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pre-doctoral practicum at the University Pennsylvania Center for Weight and Eating Disorders, and her postdoctoral fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital’s Jefferson Headache Center. She is a faculty member at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and teaches in the Masters of Applied Positive Psychology Program.
